Tuition Information and Studio Fees

Tuition reserves the student’s weekly lesson time and place in the studio program. Registration fees and tuition payments are nonrefundable.

Registration

A one-time, nonrefundable $30 registration fee is required for each enrolling student, whether new or returning. A lesson place is not reserved until the registration fee, signed agreement, and tuition currently due have been received.

Students who remain continuously enrolled do not pay an annual registration fee. A student returning after unenrollment must register again, pay the current registration fee and tuition rate, and select from the lesson times then available.

A complimentary Meet the Teacher visit is offered. If the family chooses to continue, enrollment paperwork and the prorated first month’s tuition are due. Regular flat monthly tuition begins after that.

Enrollment Plans

  • Full Year Learning Enrollment: Weekly 30-minute private lessons, $120 per month, with a full-year commitment.
  • Month-to-Month Enrollment: Weekly 30-minute private lessons, $140 per month, with 30 days’ written notice required to withdraw.
  • Special rates are limited, offered at Ms. Kay’s discretion, and are not public enrollment options.

Payment Timeline and Late Fees

Tuition must be received before the starting time of the student’s first scheduled lesson of the month, whether attended, missed, or paused.

  • After that time, a $20 late fee applies.
  • Beginning the next calendar day, $1 is added for each calendar day the balance remains unpaid.
  • Late fees are capped at $40 per monthly invoice.
  • Lessons will be paused after 14 calendar days of nonpayment until the entire account is current.
  • Checks must follow the same payment timeline and be ready for deposit before the starting time of the student’s first scheduled lesson of the month.

Payment Methods

A $1.50 digital-payment charge is added each month for every 30 minutes of reserved weekly lesson time. There is no additional charge for cash or check payments.

Please label every payment with the month, year, purpose, and student name or names.

Year-Round Tuition

Flat monthly tuition continues across all 12 months and is not based on attendance at individual lessons. The annual calendar projects 32 regular lessons. Fifth weeks and additional lessons beyond the projected calendar are complimentary and serve as built-in make-up opportunities. Routine individual make-up lessons, tuition credits, and refunds are not provided for student absences, holidays, weather interruptions, or other closures covered by the studio calendar.
